Referenda Results Released

Foundation City, Renaissance – The results of much anticipated public referenda have been released today by the Origin Colonial Authority. Participation after final tally stands at 61% of the population.
In the referendum to decide if Saede Riordan should remain System’s Coordinator, an overwhelming majority of those voting were in favour of her, with 83% of the vote for, and 17% against.
In the referendum to decide the fate of the AI research taking place at Promethean Station, voters fell much more closely, with 58% for continuing the research, and 42% against continuing it.
In the referendum to determine the fate of Night Station Prison, 49% of the voters support keeping the prison open, while 51% want to see it closed down.
In the referendum to decide if Shiroh Yatamii should remain in charge of the Office of Central Reconnaissance, 28% were in favour, while 72% want to see him step down.
